Event description

Description

Reserve your spot on the bus to our Open the Debates protest at Hofstra University, where the first presidential debate is taking place. Space is limited, so RSVP as soon as possible! Both Jill Stein and Ajamu Baraka will be protesting with us. Sponsored by the Stein/Baraka campaign.

The buses will be leaving at 2:30 p.m. sharp, so please arrive no later than 2:15 p.m.

We will have one bus leaving from Manhattan and two buses leaving from Brooklyn. The bus from Manhattan will be leaving from Bryant Park, and the two buses from Brooklyn will be leaving from Barclay Center at Atlantic Avenue. If we run out of space on the Manhattan bus, we may need to ask people to go on a Brooklyn bus instead.

All three buses will be leaving and returning at the following times:

• Buses depart for Hofstra at 2:30 p.m.
• Buses arrive back in Manhattan and Brooklyn at 8:30 p.m.

FAQs

Q: What if the buses are booked when I try to reserve a seat?

If our buses are booked by the time you try to reserve a seat, please consider organizing carpools: Post your carpool to NYC as an event on the campaign's Grassroots Calendar, or search for an existing carpool there. You may also plan carpools in these Green Party Facebook groups:

NY: Green Party of New York Facebook group
NJ: Green Party of New Jersey: Grassroots Organizing & Discussion
CT: Connecticut Green Party Facebook group

If you're even farther away, try searching for your state or local Green Party Facebook group and plan a carpool there.
