Want to take your community service to the next level? Look no further than Get On Board, our popular nonprofit board internship program.
Serving on a nonprofit board is one of the best ways to expand your professional network and develop real-world leadership skills. Get On Board is a great opportunity to learn about the impact and inner-workings of community organizations without financial obligations or voting rights. Our upcoming training session is perfect for TYPros members new to nonprofit service or those that want to tune up their board leadership skills.
We've rescheduled the kick off party and training for Monday, December 5. We'll run through the basics of fundraising and event planning at 6. Then at 7, stick around to have all your board service questions answered, like: how do I apply for Get On Board? What's the time commitment? How do I know which board to choose? Recent board interns will also be on hand to share their experience.
To get started on the Get On Board application, click here. Applications are due December 9, and we'll notify prospective board interns by January 4.
