GET IT ACROSS is a realistic, practical workshop on how to speak to impress people and really get through to them

There are two days in April, and a third, Golden Nuggets day in early July.

What will the event be like?

The atmosphere will be relaxed, friendly and informal. If you have had any fears about standing up in front of people, you will find it's supportive, nurturing, great fun, and we have easy ways to leave those fears behind. You'll get to learn these early on before we really get going. Bill or Izabela your hosts and facilitators will call to welcome you once you decide to join us, and they will answer any questions you may have.

Your publicity talks about a Golden Nuggets Follow up day in July. Is that included in the price?

That day is integral to the workshop, but will be subject to a separate booking, and a special low fee of just €120. It is designed to support you in gaining "road time" with your new skills, to embed what you learn and to measure your progress with your positive new habits. The golden nuggets refer to the gems of ideas, discoveries and extra skills we may add on that day. It is also an opportunity to come back and network with your Get It Across network friends.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Car parking is easy, and INCLUDED IN THE TICKET PRICE. The IFSC car park is at one end of the hotel building in Commons Street, facing the Citi Bank building. Information about parking will be given to you with joining instructions before the course.

The Luas Red Line tramstop at St George's Dock is 3 minutes away, Connolly train station and Busaras bus station are both 6 minutes walk away. Arriving from Dublin Airport, the 747 Airlink bus stops across the road at the Spencer Hotel/Convention Centre stop.

Is lunch included?

Lunch is not included. Food is easily available in the hotel, and there is a great variety of eating places nearby.

What can I bring into the event?

You may bring an audio or voice recorder to capture parts of the event for your own use. You may be asked to stop recording from time to time to repect people's privacy. Written course materials will be provided.

Is there a dress code?

We welcome anywhere from casual to super smart. However you feel most comfortable in yourself, perhaps related to the kinds of people you want or need to influence is a good guide.

Is there a refund policy?

If you are unable to attend due to illness or for similar reasons, we will accept someone as your substitute, or offer you a full refund. We reserve the right to offer a credit note against future events with us should your withdrawal be for more casual reasons.
