Get in Gear | 2017 PRCA State Conference

For the 60th anniversary of the Public Relations Council of Alabama, hit the road and travel to where it all began for the 2017 state conference and awards luncheon in Birmingham. On April 3 you can get in gear through an interactive and super charged conference highlighting ways to tune up, maintain and prepare your communication engine. Mark your calendar now and watch for more details as the conference nears.
Registration closes at midnight on Friday, March 31.

Snacks will be provided. Cash bar available.
7-8 a.m. Sign-in/breakfast
8-9 a.m. Tune up: Keynote (Will Pearson, Mental Floss)
9-10:30 a.m. Maintain: Interactive training session (Blair Bloomston, game on Nation, LLC)
10:30-11 a.m. Break
11 a.m. – noon Prepare: Interactive crisis session (Markstein)
12-12:30 p.m. Break
12:30-2:30 p.m. Awards Luncheon* (Emcee: Martie Duncan, Food Network Star finalist and Chief Party Thrower at Martie Knows Parties)
*Includes all professional and student Medallion Awards, COTY, PAA, etc.
APR Jump Start
A jump start session for APR will be held beginning at 3 p.m. and will last until 6:30 p.m. If you are interested in participating, please purchase the "APR Jump Start" ticket for $25.
A room block is open until March 13 by visiting the Westin Hotel room block link. The discounted rate is $165 per night.

What are parking options for the event?
Overnight and daily parking is available for a small fee in the Westin Hotel parking deck located at the back of the Westin hotel.

What's the refund policy?
No refunds will be given, but substitutions will be accepted. If someone will be coming in your place, please email Alyssa Hagan at email@example.com as soon as possible.
Will food be provided?
A light, continental breakfast will be provided upon arrival and a buffet lunch will be provided for awards luncheon attendees.
