About this Event

EVENT UPDATE:

In response to the changing public health situation relating to COVID-19, Get Gig Ready will be going online and on air as a series of podcasts running from May this year.

If you would like to get an email with information about the series when it goes live, or have questions you’d like to ask the presenters, please register for this event.

We acknowledge that this is a difficult time for the live music industry.

The Australian Music Industry Network and the Australian Festival Association have joined with industry partners to tally the impact of these impacts on Australians - and hear your stories. Get involved at www.ilostmygig.net.au

There are so many things that go into putting on a great gig: from conception to pitching, marketing to sound check, let alone playing your actual music! Hear from Jaimee Taylor-Nielsen whose vast experience across festivals, events and gigs will give you best practice on how to get gig ready.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

This event will suit emerging and early career musicians of any age and genre who are looking to build skills that will help them perform more live music. It is open to artists that live, work, study or play in City of Ryde and / or Lane Cove Council.
