OR

Take a cell-phone photography workshop led by professional photographer Stephen B. Morton.

What to bring:

• Lunches and beverage.

• Filled and refillable water bottles.

• All of your own creative materials. (You must be able to carry all your gear without assistance.)

About the day: Travel 30 minutes across Ossaabaw Sound by pontoon boat from Skidaway Island to the North End of Ossabaw Island.

An Ossabaw Island visit includes excellent art-making inspiration: lush maritime forests and marsh wetlands, 19th- and 20th-century historic buildings, and possible sightings of a variety of wildlife including wading birds and feral hogs, as well as free-roaming domesticated donkeys, and perhaps an alligator. Take short hikes on forest and marsh-side trails.
