Join us for an amazing evening of good crab and a ton of fun!

This "Get Crackin Crab Fest" is sure to be an event you won't want to miss!

This is an Adult Only event with Silent Auction.

No Host Bar, Silent & Live Auction

DJ & Dancing, Door Prize Raffle

All proceeds benefit Millbrae Nursery School, a parent cooperative nursery school that has served families since 1938 ~ more than 80 years!


Q: What is the Crab Feed?
The Millbrae Nursery School “Get Crackin Crab Fest” is the fundraiser held by and for Millbrae Nursery School. We also enlist the help of St. Dunstan CCD to get students involved in volunteer activities and the community. The Crab Feed boasts only the freshest crab dinner complete with entrees and desserts. Festivities feature a live auction and a silent auction filled to the brim with rare finds and gifts.

Q: Where is the Crab Feed?
The Millbrae Nursery School “Get Crackin Crab Fest” is held at San Bruno Senior Center, 1555 Crystal Springs Rd.

Q: Where do the proceeds go?
The profits from the Crab Feed help fund the various school budget items and activities, ie. Sports program, animal care. Tips or donations can also be made specifically designated for the volunteers and school students whose members served tables at this event. It is notable that 100% of your donations go to the activities.

Q: What is the Live Auction?
The Live Auction takes place during dinner. An auctioneer announces the items to be sold and those at tables can bid freely on these items with the help of school members standing by. Past items have included vacations, a date with the class teacher, art pieces, and much, much more. The Live Auction is a high energy event.

Q: What is the Silent Auction?
The Silent Auction takes place throughout the evening. The silent auction features many, many of quality items including: paintings, collectibles, autographed jerseys, prints and photos, plus a wide selection of other desirable items. In a traditional manner tables will close a few at a time. Guests can browse many quality items or gift certificates while enjoying their favorite beverage.

Q: How can make sure I'm seated at the same table as my friends?
When purchasing tickets please ask your MNS contact to add you to their group or email the school. Email us ( fundraising@millbraenurserycoop.org ) and give the names of the people who are coming within your group so that we can try our best to seat you together.

Q: How can I donate items to the Live or Silent Auction?
Any member of MNS will kindly accept your item. Contact Us to provide your information and arrange for the item to be picked up. Thanks!

Q: What’s for dinner?
Dungeness Crab is brought in fresh, cracked and cleaned from a supplier with over 30 years in the industry and proven to be the best around! And yes it's all-you-can-eat served with melted butter, lemons and cocktail sauce, along with the ever popular "Crab bibs." Also on the menu: bread/butter, salad, pasta and dessert. For those who don't eat seafood~ smoked brisket will be available upon request. Be sure to email fundraising@millbraenurserycoop.org after you purchase your ticket to request the alternate meal choice.
