What is it all about?

Get Connected Swindon & Wiltshire is a 1 day event bringing the business community together.

We will kickstart the day with pre-event networking. During the show you will find a wide range of local and regional (some national) businesses who will be showcasing their products and services; a great range of expert speakers, advice from business experts, speed networking and sector specific networking.

The aim of the Expo is to bring together the regional business community (Swindon, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire) for a special day of business opportunities. Businesses of all sizes are involved, from corporations operating locally, regional medium sized businesses wanting to promote their brands and connect with the regional business community and small businesses & start ups looking for growth.

At the Expo, exhibition stands are available to help to get businesses noticed, an excellent free business seminar programme delivered by business experts will help educate and inspire, there is help and advice from local business support organisations, organised speed networking and relaxed networking to increase people's contact base, and, of course, a networking cafe.

Visitors are encouraged to network with each other as well as with exhibitors and speakers throughout the Expo. To facilitate and deliver more effective networking, there is a classification system with badges for different business types eg Financial, Retail & Distribution, IT, Manufacturers, Property, Business Services, Publishers, Consumer Services, Transportation, Charities etc - there are 48 business categories, one of which will be displayed clearly on each delegate lanyard pass, facilitating the networking across the expo.

Coronavirus (Covid-19) Statement

Get a ticket for this event, and we’ll move it to the new date automatically (if it is postponed)

This Expo (and events within it) will go ahead as planned on the 15th October 2020, but if circumstances don’t allow then we will let you know that the event is postponed (by email & on the website) and move the date backwards to a new date, repeating until the event can successfully go ahead. We won’t ever cancel it, we’re determined that it will go ahead when deemed safe to do so, and we believe that the Expo can support the regional business community to quickly get back up and running well again. The first ‘penciled-in’ fallback dates for this expo are 3rd March 2021 and then the 5th May 2021 but we will confirm this if we have to postpone. Thanks for your understanding.
