Georgia's Anti-Sex Trafficking Lobby Day 2017
Join together with Georgia's anti-sex trafficking organizations on Tuesday, February 28th and make your voice heard in the fight to end Sex Trafficking! Lobby Day is an opportunity to stand with other community members, advocates, and elected officials to show support for legislation protecting children and adults from sex trafficking and sexual exploitation, as well as a time to thank our legislators for their hard work and commitment toward the issue.
This year's Lobby Day will advocate for both minor and adult trafficking victims. Sex trafficking is a crime that affects its victims for the remainder of his/her life, regardless of age. In response, we will be discussing the connection between minor and adult trafficking and cycles of exploitation as well as presenting legislation that will provide relief for all victims seeking a fresh start. If you are looking to get involved in the anti-sex trafficking movement, have questions about this year's legislative agenda, and desire to advocate and stand up for victims, this is the right opportunity for you!
Lobby Day will be followed by a luncheon hosted by the Lobby Day Partner Organizations.
ATTENTION: Lobby Day 2017 organizers will provide information regarding all participants' state legislators based on the address you provide during registration. This information will appear on the back of your name badge when you arrive. We will not be able to provide this information for participants who register after February 21, 2017.
