The 41st Annual Georgia Sea Islands Festival is Saturday, June 2nd at Gascoigne Bluff Park (next to Epworth By The Sea) on St. Simons Island from 11AM-6PM. The Georgia Sea Islands Festival is FREE and filled with entertainment.

The purpose of the festival is to promote the culture and history of African Americans of the Coastal Barrier Islands.

Some of the festival highlights will include:

• Special performance by the Geechee Gullah Ring Shouters - one of the top performing artists of the Geechee Gullah culture

• Live entertainment showcasing Smooth Journey, Sheila Tyson, Shy’Keira Mangram, Ajamu Mutima, Ye-Yo, Tracey Bryant and many more.

• Vendors will offer a variety of Arts & Crafts, Business & Non-Profit vendors

• Food including seafood and non-seafood with menu items ranging from the exotic to the familiar

Bring your lawn chair and relax under the large oak trees. It is sure to be filled with great music, tantalizing food, and fun for the whole family.
