Event description
Alternative delivery methods can bring the greatest value to the owner of a project. How can you add to that value?

About this event

In the transportation industry, alternative delivery became widespread as a result of initiatives created to stimulate that economy and job market. Alternative delivery methods such as design-build bring more flexibility in design and construction means and methods that are not found in traditional design-bid-build projects.

Georgia DOT is using alternative delivery methods to advance infrastructure projects to quickly meet the needs of Georgia's traveling public. Understanding these methods of program delivery is key for small business to innovate how they can provide services to Georgia DOT.

Join Dustin O'Quinn, Associate Vice President for Special Projects at HNTB Corporation, for an in-depth look at alternative delivery methods and how you can benefit as a small business consultant or contractor. O'Quinn will discuss:

  • How design-build and other methods can factor into a project;
  • How Georgia DOT uses alternative delivery in its major programs; and
  • How you can effectively market your services for contracts using alternative delivery.

This workshop will kick off our GDOT 2021 Bootcamp Series. Register today and get ready for an information-packed event!
