Georgetown Unity Alliance Melting Pot March
Sat, March 25, 2017, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM EDT
The Melting Pot March will begin at Winyah Auditorium and will end at Howard High School. This symbolic route was deliberately chosen as Winyah was traditionally a Caucasian school and Howard was traditionally an African American school. The March showcases that by participating in open impartial dialogue we can become greater by working together for the common good. The March will begin at 1:00pm. We ask that participants meet at 12:00 noon. The March is open to all who wish to attend. We will have refreshments at the end of the March at Howard School.
