Event description

Description

Please join us for the SCS Entrepreneurship Challenge!

Attendees will get to hear from some of the best and brightest Georgetown student entrepreneurs, learn valuable insights from the panelists, and network with fellow Hoyas who are interested in entrepreneurship.

The Georgetown Entrepreneurship Challenge encourages students and aspiring entrepreneurs from across Georgetown University to share their entrepreneurial ventures, business ideas, or social enterprises with our community. Student entrepreneurs will pitch new business ideas to an expert panel of experienced entrepreneurs and business leaders, and they will gain valuable feedback on their ideas while competing for cash prizes.

Interested in participating?

This event is open to all students in the School of Continuing Studies who wish to present their business ideas. Register here to pitch. (Please note that Bachelor of Liberal Arts Students will compete as part of the Undergraduate Pitch Competition on April 1-3. SCS graduate students will compete at SCS on March 13.)

Each team will get 5 minutes to pitch their idea with supporting Google Slides, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A with the panel of judges. Teams will be scored based on feasibility, team, incorporation of Georgetown values, and overall presentation.

The winner of the SCS Entrepreneurship Challenge will receive $1,000 and advance to the Graduate Georgetown Entrepreneurship Challenge Finals on April 8, 2019. There will be six graduate teams at the Finals competing for the $10,000 first prize!
