About the series:
“Gentrified” is an upcoming Austin-based web series that follows the lives of three Black millennials navigating through the ups and downs of life while dealing with the direct impacts of gentrification.
Residents across the nation in cities like Austin, Oakland, and New York City are confronting gentrification and the pain, erasure, and displacement it brings. The web series “Gentrified” aims to highlight this relevant issue and explore the effects of gentrification through the eyes of affected residents.
