GENTLE SLOW FLOW YOGA
Taught by Darryl Harrison
This is a slow flow class with an emphasis on breath and mindful awareness. Suitable for beginners as well as experienced and offering modifications for different levels of experience. The class exhibits an atmosphere of acceptance and mutual support by participants.
Darrell Harrison: As a part time faculty member, he taught kung fu classes each year in Martial Arts/Self Defense and Women's Self Defense for Berea College. His teaching focus for the past ten years has been yoga with added elements of drawn from king fu exercises and movements drawn from Chinese and Tibetan health systems. Darrell holds the philosoply that yoga can be practiced by practically anyone and endeavors to make his classes inclusive to anyone with the willingness to learn.
