Join us for this stimulating discussion, part of a larger online series created by Les Dames d'Escoffier International called Table Talks with Les Dames.

Members of both the Kansas City and Sacramento chapters of Les Dames d'Escoffier are coming together to host this discussion based on research they have conducted at FleishmanHillard about how Americans who love food are coping during the pandemic.

A little history about what you will hear:

In 2018, FleishmanHillard commissioned their first Gen Food study, with the goal of understanding what, if any, connected food forward consumers across different generations. The answer was a lot—a shared commitment to continued learning about food, prioritizing sustainability sourced foods and being part of addressing food challenges like food waste and food safety were priorities for all generations.

With the impact of COVID, FleishmanHillard has now gone back to see how COVID has impacted these same consumers. Has their creative outlet of food preparation become a chore? Are they enamored with online shopping or do they miss a chance to stop and smell the cantaloupes? Only Gen Food 2021 knows…and these Dames look forward to sharing their findings with you.

This event will be hosted over Zoom and is FREE and open to the public, all are welcome to attend. We will be asking for those who join us for a donation via Paypal and Venmo. The money raised will go toward the Kansas City Les Dames d'Escoffier Education Fund to create monetary scholarships for women interested in studying the culinary arts.
