Generation Women are celebrating their one-year anniversary with an inaugural Best Of show! Relive all your favorite performers from Teams 20 – Teams 80, and catch the ones you missed. Sure to sell out, grab your tickets now.

Thanks to everyone who has made this show such a success. We love you all!

Team 20: Madeleine Martin appeared on Showtime’s Californication, Netflix’s Hemlock Grove, and performed in seven Broadway productions. She is Fionna on Cartoon Networks, Adventure Time, and she is the recipient of the Marian Seldes Most Promising Young Performer Award.

Team 30: Keisha Zollar is an actor-writer-comedienne who has starred in Orange is the New Black, A&E’s new show Black and White, Comedy Central, Nightcap on PopTV, Middle of the Night, The Today Show, CollegeHumor, and more.

Team 40: Jess Rowland is a sound artist, performer, and writer. Her recent escapades include The Disasters, a collection of short fiction, and an exhibit of Compositions for Paper Speakers at Dartmouth College.

Team 50: Lois Thompson is founding member of Comic Diversity, and has performed at Caroline’s, Gotham Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy, & Stand-Up NY. She’s been producing & hosting Blacklight Comedy Show at the Brooklyn Moon for 5 years now, and she is looking forward to, for the 4th year in a row, producing & hosting the Brooklyn Pride Celebration Comedy Show.

Team 60: Janice Maffei is a playwright and poet. Janice serves on the board of The Lilly Awards which celebrates women theatre artists, and is a co-founder of VisionFirst, a consulting firm that helps organizations to think forward, create change and get results.

Team 70: Martha Connors is the winner of the Jack Kerouac Literary Prize at the “Let’s Celebrate Kerouac” Celebration in Lowell, Massachusetts and author of computer poems (including “Ready When You Are, Houston”) in The Geek Squad Guide to Every Computer Glitch. Martha, a humorist, resides in New York and writes her own material.

Team 80: June Duffy became a lawyer at 50+ and retired 5 years ago as Bureau Chief in the office of the New York State Attorney General. Before that, she was, among other things: a theater person, teacher, proof-reader and paralegal, as well as the mother of four fantastic daughters.

Doors 6:30pm, show 7:00pm.

Generation Women is a cross-generational storytelling night in New York City. Each month, five women of note read an original piece on a theme. Of those women, one is in her 20s, her 30s, her 40s, her 50s, and her 60s+. Generation Women celebrates and amplifies women’s voices and creativity.
