GramercyLabs (Snooth, Lot18, Popdust, and Fameball) and General Assembly once again present a monthly speaker series, showcasing the latest in New York technology and entrepreneurship, conceived to introduce new concepts and inspire great discussion.
Each event will give one speaker the floor for the evening to discuss a topic of their choosing, as well as time to answer questions from the audience in an intimate setting. This month features a talk and Q&A with Jason Finger, Found of SeamlessWeb.
Jason Finger started SeamlessWeb in 1999, and under his leadership it became the Internet's leading food ordering and billing services company serving cities across North America and London. The company was one of Time magazine's 50 coolest websites and the fourth fastest-growing private company in the U.S. according to Inc. magazine. In 2007, Finger was named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and one of Crain's "40 Under 40" leading young executives. Quoted as being a rare breed of entrepreneurs that can generate new ideas from scratch and then scale revenues well beyond $200 million, Jason will share his insights on strategic considerations in starting, financing, growing and selling a business.
