In this session we will hear government, civil society, academic, private sector and, most importantly, small-scale women food producers discuss solutions and opportunities to reverse gender-based inequality in food systems. Discussion will be based on a cluster of solutions around integrating transformative approaches in food systems structures, policies, and programmes; the creation of an alliance of global and national financial institutions to implement gender-transformative finance mechanisms; developing a campaign to tackle harmful social and gender norms, customs, and values, and; creating an alliance of countries adopting feminist food systems policies.
