The New York City Commission on Gender Equity is pleased to invite you to attend our next public forum, Gender Equity Matters, on Wednesday, October 25th from 6 to 8PM in the Dr. S. Stevan Dweck Cultural Center, located at Brooklyn Public Library’s Central Library (10 Grand Army Plaza Brooklyn, NY 11238). Please be sure to enter at the ground level entrance on Eastern Parkway.

The public forum, being held during City Hall in Your Borough Week, will engage community residents in discussions about the City’s efforts to advance gender equity and the role of the Commission on Gender Equity in meeting this goal. It is also an opportunity to share the City’s resources with community residents and to meet community leaders dedicated to building a city free from gender discrimination. Gender Equity Matters will feature comments and discussion from the following community leaders and advocates:

La Comisión de Igualdad de Género de la Ciudad de Nueva York (New York City Commission on Gender Equity) se complace en invitarlos a asistir al próximo foro público, “La equidad de género es importante” (Gender Equity Matters), el miércoles 25 de octubre de 6 a 8PM en el Dr. S. El foro público, que se lleva a cabo durante la Semana del Municipio en su Distrito (City Hall in Your Borough Week), les permitirá a los residentes de la comunidad participar en debates acerca de las iniciativas de la Ciudad para promover la igualdad de género y el rol de la Comisión de Igualdad de Género para lograr este objetivo.
