Description

As part of the Athena SWAN initiative, Ulster University, in partnership with the University of Limerick, the North West Regional College and Derry and Strabane District Council will hold a Gender Equality in STEMM: The Future is Bright conference on 11 October 2016.

The conference will feature keynote addresses by Professor Curt Rice, Head of Norway’s Committee on Gender Balance and Diversity in Research, Gillian McColgan, chief technology officer, Marquis Technologies and Dr Anke Lipinsky, Scientific Associate, Center of Excellence Women and Science, GESIS - Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences.

This conference is the ideal forum in which to discuss and debate gender issues in STEMM and will include workshop sessions, a Q&A panel and networking opportunities.
