6th GAD Planning and Budgeting Fora for National Government Agencies, Attached Offices, Bureaus, and Government-Controlled Corporations

The Philippine Commission on Women and in partnership with the Commission on Audit will convene the Sixth GAD Budget Fora (GBF) to be held on November 9 and 10, 2017 at the Commission on Audit (COA) Central Office, Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City. The forum will serve as a venue to:

  1. Reorient national line agencies, attached agencies, bureaus and GOCCs on the Revised Guidelines on the Preparation of the Annual Gender and Development (GAD) Plans and Budgets and Accomplishment Reports including the supplemental guidelines on the procedure of GPB submission through the use of Gender Mainstreaming Monitoring System (GMMS);

  2. Clarify issues and concerns encountered by agencies in the preparation and implementation of their annual GAD Plans and Budgets;

  3. Present the revised guidelines in the audit of Gender and Development (GAD) Funds and activities in government agencies; and

  4. Generate and gather additional feedback for the enhancement of the GAD Planning and Budgeting (GPB) Guidelines for NGAs and redesign of the Gender Mainstreaming Monitoring System (GMMS).

In this regard, we invite agencies to send ONLY TWO (2) representatives (preferably the GAD Focal Point System Members and Budget Officers) from each agency to attend the GAD Budget Forum free of charge.

The registration will be given on a first come, first served basis. Agencies are encouraged to register early due to limited slots. Please register via the GAD Budget Forum Eventbrite page not later than November 3, 2017. Participant’s registration and official e-ticket will be confirmed via email.

Attached agencies, bureaus and GOCCs are strongly encouraged to attend the session schedule of their mother/central agency while stand-alone GOCCs are scheduled to participate in the second day session. The target venue of the forum observes strict security measures, so please be advised that ONLY OFFICIALLY REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS for the day will be allowed to enter. No walk-in participants will be accepted.
