GENaustin's two-day camp inspires 5th and 6th grade girls to be their best selves and prepares them for a great school year!
All sessions are open to girls entering 5th and 6th grades.
Session One-Tuesday, July 16, 2013 from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM AND Wednesday July 17, 2013 from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Session Two- Wednesday, July 31, 2013 from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM AND Thursday August 1, 2013 from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Session Three-Thursday, August 8th, 2013 from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM AND Friday, August 9th from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Day 1-Girl Talk
On day one, girls will dive into activities and discussions surrounding the complex issues that they face everyday. This session will focus on creating and maintaining better friendships, building confidence through effective communication and adopting a healthy body image.
Day 2-Looking Ahead
On day two, we will focus on thinking about the future and the transition to middle school. Girls will have an opportunity to ask questions and get real answers and advice from older girls about classes, friendships and all of the changes ahead! They will also learn about stress management and the importance of setting goals. All in an engaging and fun environment!
Lunch will provided both days.
