WHAT: Geeks on DaBus
WHERE: Catch the Bus and meet at the Greenhouse
WHEN: Thursday, April 12, 2012, Start: whenever, Meetup: 12:00 noon
Armed with your smartphone, be it iOS, Android or something in between, jump on the Bus and share your experience from where ever you are and meetup for lunch at the Greenhouse in Kaka'ako.
We encourage you to document your trip and tell us the good, bad and the ugly by tweeting, photographing, videoing your journey. You can use the app of choice:

You can also form teams with people you know (or don't know) who may want to tweet along with you. Please feel free to tweet your friends and organize your own mini geeks on DaBus and let's all meet up at the Greenhouse in Kaka'ako.
Along the way, meetup with Mayor Peter Carlisle at Honolulu Hale and get his first hand impressions of DaBus experience. The Mayor will catch the Bus at 11:00am.
All participants who join us using their social media prowes (tweets, photos, video, posts, hashtag: #DaBusHNL) will get lunch courtesy of Hawaii Open Data. In addtion to chatting with the Mayor we will have on hand the app developers both Andy Yip and designer Jane Zeng and members of OTS (Oahu Transit Service) including Roger Morton who can answer questions about the Bus api and getting access to real time bus data.
