PLEASE ADD YOURSELF TO THE WAITLIST IN THE EVENT WE SUCCEED! WE WANT TO MEET AND HACK WITH YOU TOO!
The Geeklist 'Code Monkey Initiative' takes New York
Geeklist is hosting a down and dirty hack-a-thon celebrating the opening of their NYC offices and expansion into the East Coast. We want to meet and hack with NYC's bad-ass developers. It's a 24-hour hack-a-thon...we'll be giving away Geeklist Swag at the meetup and hoodies to some of the best hacks.
Come join us for a 30-60 minute meetup with the Geeklist founders, Christian Sanz and Reuben Katz, with beer, soda and pizzas, then get your Hack on and win some awesome prizes! (including new iPads) If you don't hack, you can just hang and drink with Reuben, talk startups, ideas and drink more...if you do hack join Christian and create something awesome and post an achievement card about it on geekli.st!
By the way, if you don't know, a bad-ass achievement card looks like this:
- "I Scaled Twitter"
- "I Redesigned the YouTube Player and made it Black"
- "I helped build Google Adwords 2.0 from the ground up"
- "I Created Ruby"
- "Started the PHP Project"
- "I work on Node"
So, after raising our seed round with some industry greats including our office sponsors, Great Oaks VC, we're kicking off a 3-city hack-a-thon/meetup/outreach beginning in NYC, heading to Santiago Chile and on to Buenos Aires. Join us for some crazy hackness at our new @gklst NYC digs this Friday, December 2nd at 6pm. Got questions? Email: email@example.com or tweet us @rekatz @csanz or @gklst
