Event description

Description

Come one, come all and join our Senior Teens for their annual pancake fundraiser! This event is open to the entire family, so feel free to bring your whole family, friends, co-workers, neighbors and anyone else who would like to support a great cause.

This year, the Senior Teens have chosen to raise funds for the Children's Tumor Foundation in memory of Lindsay Grain Carter, daughter of GECC Associate and Life Member, Shawn Grain Carter. Lindsay was a proud fourth generation legacy member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. and earned the Distinguished Teen of the Year Award. She was called home on September 15, 2018 from an MPNST Sarcoma as a result of the neurological disease Neurofibromatosis. Lindsay was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her and never allowed her disease to define her. A tenacious life-long learner, she most recently earned her Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Rutgers University, which was just one of her many accomplishments in her 27yrs of life. In Lindsay's memory, net proceeds will be donated to the Children's Tumor Foundation as well as the Jack and Jill of America Foundation.

The teens are looking forward to serving you breakfast on November 4th. If you are not able to join in person, please still consider supporting such an important cause by making a donation using the ticket link above.
