Description

During this interactive session, Dr. Donna Maria Blancero will discuss both the research and the practice of implicit bias. Participants will be engaged as they become more aware of what is behind implicit bias behaviors. Best practices for learning how to manage one's own behaviors will be discussed. Additionally, participants will learn about how to respond to incidents of implicit bias, whether such behaviors are directed at them or at others. Recommendations will be provided to help respond to these behaviors.
