Softball players; there is a softball field, the camp supplies all of the equipment, however, you may want to bring your own gloves, balls, and bats.

Each person is responsible for their own transportation to and from the camp. No buses or carpools are provided or organized by the church.

Guys can arrive early on Friday but registration will not begin until 3PM on Friday.

The first meal begins with dinner on Friday night at 7PM. The dining room closes at 8PM so if you arrive past 8PM on Friday night, please make your own arrangements for dinner since they will not be able to provide a late meal. We will have late registration after our Friday night session up until 11PM. Just go to the dining hall for late registration on Friday night.

The kitchen will be closed after 8PM but the dining room will be open from 9PM to 11PM for fellowship and late registration.

All campers can only be admitted into the camp if they are registered for the retreat ahead of time. All men attending this retreat will need to check in and register on Friday night. If for some reason you're not able to arrive sometime on Friday night, please let Ken know because we will have to make special arrangements for you to be able to gain entrance into the camp.

Bedding: Everyone will have a bed to sleep in but we will all need to bring our own bedding, Sleeping bags work great or you can bring sheets and a blanket and don't forget your pillow.

Here is also a helpful list of things to pack . . .

Washcloth, Soap, Shampoo
Flip Flops
Toothbrush & Toothpaste
Camera

Towels
Chap stick
Sunscreen
Sleeping Bag or bedding
Canteen or refillable water bottle
Flashlight
Pillow
Spending Money
Tennis Shoes

For the health and safety of all, smoking is not permitted anywhere at the camp. Local laws prohibit smoking outdoors or along pathways and roads.

The speed limit at the camp is 5MPH and is strictly enforced.

They will make every effort to accommodate medical diets as long as they are requested in advance and do not require special purchases. Please arrange for medical diets by calling 909-867-4444 ext 235

Promptness to meals is essential so that food is not chilled and the kitchen staff is not unnecessarily detained. It is possible that those arriving late for meals may not be served.

Right after lunch on Saturday, at 12:45PM, we will all gather on the lawn outside the dining hall for a group photo. We have arranged for a professional photographer to take the group photo. The photographer will ask for a show of hands during lunch for guys who want to purchase the photo. Then the photographer will bring all of the photos to the camp that evening and distribute them during dinner. Photos are $5.00 each.

The camp serves meals family style, with guests seated at large round tables. After we've prayed for the meal, one person from each table goes to the serving window and gets a platter of food for the whole table. Seconds are available after every table has been served.
The camp is located at 6,500 feet above sea level. At that altitude, it is very easy to suffer from dehydration and altitude sickness (appears a lot like the flu). We encourage you to drink a lot of water days before and during the retreat, eat properly, and do no over exert yourselves. Wilderness areas where you could easily get lost also surround the camp. If you plan to go for a hike, be sure and know the trail route you will be taking. Trail maps are available from the front office. Always hike in pairs or groups. Take plenty of water and never drink from streams or springs. If you plan to be gone on a hike over 1 hour, please take the time to notify the office at the time or your departure and your expected return

All guys are encouraged to car pool if possible.
