GDSC x Microsoft: Women in Tech Conference

Join us for a two-day event featuring various women in tech who are experts in their fields, sharing knowledge and expertise with students, as well as their insight to getting a tech internship and workshops to learn new skills! The aim of this event is to celebrate the achievements of women in technology, and empower the future generation of women in the field of STEM.

All majors, backgrounds and years are invited to attend and it is completely FREE!

About us:

The University of Toronto St. George and Mississauga Google Developer Student Clubs are proud to bring you the GDSC x Microsoft: Women in Tech Conference. Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC) is a student led community backed by Google Developers aimed at empowering undergraduate students from all disciplines to grow their knowledge in technology, build solutions for their local communities, and connect with other members from the Google community. What to expect:

• Speaker Talks: Compelling talks with leaders in various careers in technology. They are here to share their insight and give advice in pursuing a career in the field of technology, and growing as a leader
• Panel Sessions: Open Q&A and discussion where you can learn and hear about the experience in various tech opportunities for students
• Workshops: Learn a new technical skill through various workshops hosted by industry professionals across the tech field! This is a chance to explore new technologies and prepare for a career in tech

Where: The Toronto Microsoft Office (CIBC Square)

The GDSC x Microsoft: Women in Tech Conference is happening in-person at the Microsoft Office in Toronto (CIBC Square): 81 Bay St., Toronto, ON M5J 0E7. Complimentary lunch will be provided to all guests. The conference begins at 10:30am both days of the event but doors are open to guests beginning at 10:00am.
