Digitalization and Data have been hot topics during the last few years. However, the data that is gathered by corporations is often inaccurate, outdated, or gathered without the individual being aware of it. Corporations have taken advantage of this situation, and finally the EU has come up with a regulation (General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)) that will change the game tremendously from May 2018 onwards for anyone that is collecting or managing any sort of personal data. Amongst others this means literally every corporation, startup and SME in the EU. Especially Data Security Officers and employees in the Customer Service, Human Ressources and Sales Departments are affected by the new regulation.

In this event, we want to give the audience a deep dive into how the GDPR can be a threat but also an initiative in which support and solutions already exist.

We will bring together experts from the legal as well as from the IT side. By combining speakers from corporates and startups, we want to showcase the challenges that come with the new regulation and how collaboration and exchange across industries and sectors can be inspiring, guiding and valuable.

The event will be held in English.
