GCSN is a local chapter of the California Science Teachers Assocition and has been helping to shape the landscape of science education since 1993. In honor of the work of this organization, its volunteers, and its supporters, this year's conferene will include a brief awards presentation.

Participants will be able to:

  • Choose from more than 20 workshops in four breakout sessions, including a focus on Common Core and NGSS

  • Bring home ready-to-use lessons, materials, and ideas for teaching science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)

  • Attend two keynote speakers

  • Network with local teachers and STEM Organizations from Ventura and surrounding counties

  • Celebrate the people and organizations who have contributed to GCSN's legacy of providing quality support to STEM educators and the public since 1993

In addition, this year's keynote presentations have been selected based on the "changing landscape" theme.
