Event description

Description

23 & 24 April 2018 // Royal Norwich
How do you move a golf club?

Learn from GM Phil Grice, and his team - which includes a number of leading industry figures, how the club sold its original site for housing, merged with another club, designed a new course on an old site, built the new course, and rebranded along the way.

It is a truly fascinating project, and Phil, who is also on the board of the GCMA, will discuss a huge range of topics, including project management, course design, branding, change management, and governance.

If you would like to attend, please register for a ticket, and then please also book accommodation yourself.

The event will cost £60 (plus booking fee) and will include dinner on Monday evening.

I am recommending staying at the Holiday Inn Express - Norwich, which is very near the golf club. There is no reason the event won't take place - other than minimum numbers being met - but I would personally book a flexible rate, just in case. The event tickets are also refundable up to 7 days in advance.

If you would like to share a room with someone, either coordinate yourself, or feel free to post on the Facebook group to see if someone else would like to do the same.

Any questions, please let me know, otherwise I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible next month!
