Description
On behalf of the Gyeonggi Content Agency (GCA) and DigiBC, I would like to cordially invite you to participate in the 2018 Global Collaboration Project (“GCP”) in British Columbia.
This series of events is being organized by Gyeonggi Province, the Gyeonggi Content Agency, and DigiBC as the next step in the three-year digital media sector collaboration agreement signed in January 2018 between the two provinces.
The aim of GCP is to help outstanding VR and AR companies in Gyeonggi Province to create new opportunities and projects by meeting with business leaders, engineers, and designers in companies around the world. We are bringing the GCP program to British Columbia as one of three key mixed reality development and innovation hubs identified by our organization and our member companies.
Five leading Korean VR/AR startups will be visiting Vancouver in September 2018.
We are inviting companies in BC who are interested in Korea’s VR/AR technology market in general, and potentially interested in partnering with our Korean companies to join us for some or all of the program.
-
We will be participating in the VR AR Global Summit (Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd September).
-
We will be setting up a temporary office and collaboration space at the BC Tech Cube from Monday 24th September to Monday 1st October inclusive to run the full GCP program.
GCP will be kicking things off with an opening information session and networking lunch on Monday September 24th to which all BC mixed reality companies are invited to attend.
Please click here to register for the Info Session and/or Networking Lunch.
Please see below for details on visiting companies and the full GCP schedule.
Companies engaging in successful partnerships will be invited, expenses paid, to Korea later in 2018.
We look forward to meeting with you during our GCP delegation to Canada and to forging meaningful relationships with mixed reality companies in British Columbia,
Yours Sincerely,
Daniel Kim,
Project Coordinator,
Global Collaboration Project in Canada 2018
