Made New: An Evening of Story and Song
Monday, December 5th, 2016
Please join us for a catered dinner and an evening of story and song as we celebrate the Christmas season as women. All women are welcome to attend this gathering.
We will be welcoming Jessica Martindale as our speaker and musician. Jessica is more than a songwriter. There is courage in her pulse and an aching wisdom in her voice. She hails from the Carolina woods and the Southern California Coast. She has been a behavioral therapist, a rising HR guru, a struggling artist who has sometimes sprinted and sometimes staggered through seasons of life. She has always wanted to be a musician, but was so consumed by fear, it took her a long time to gain the courage to do it. Three years ago she quit her day job to pursue her passion: music. Since then, she’s been making strides to bring her unique voice and soft style to the masses. She loves stories; hearing them, telling them, sharing hers. She believes there is so much power in telling them. In August, 2016 she released her debut album, “Warrior,” the musical story of one of the most meaningful chapters in her story. Check out one of Jessica’s singles, Walk the World here https://youtu.be/t4E0NYgUqp8.
In addition, our evening will include an instrumental ensemble and Christmas carols sung by the Bay Port Vocal Ensemble.
