Gather is a conference for women in PWOC and beyond, to celebrate, connect, encourage, and prepare
It is a place to connect with other women, to birth dreams and to make them happen. A place to connect with those who want to inspire and equip women to impact their world for the Kingdom of God. It is a safe place to share our lives, our faith, our hopes and dreams, our struggles, and our failures. It is a place to inhale the love of God and exhale the burdens of life.
Whether from the mountaintop or from the valley, we encounter God while we encounter one another
Our heartbeat is for women scattered across the globe to have a place to gather. Somewhere you can hear stories and share stories. Somewhere you can listen to the heartbeat of God's calling on your life and allow that passion to grow. Somewhere authentic, honest, and real...where you can just be you.
To be called Sought After by our Lord is perhaps the sweetest name we could bear.
Go through! Go through the gates! Prepare a way for the people! Build up! Build up the highway! Clear away the stones! Raise a flag for the people! The LORD has announced to the ends of the earth: "Tell my people Zion, 'Your Savior is coming. His reward is with him, and the people he has won arrive ahead of him.'" They will be called Holy People, Those Reclaimed by the LORD, and you will be called Sought After, a City Not Deserted. —Isaiah 62:10-12 (God’s Word Translation)
This year's theme is "Sought After." Father God has sought us out, sparing no expense, reserving nothing, to be able to call us His own. But, what are we to do with this...this beautiful name, which has been given to us as 'daughters of Zion'? Sought After, a City Not Deserted. We must each ask: Will I take my eyes off of myself long enough to really look at You, to seek your face, my beautiful Bridegroom? Will I search you out, as you have sought me out, no matter the cost or commitment you are seeking from me?
Sisters, as Christ has gone through the gates for us, the gates of hell, we are in turn to be good bearers of the name we have been given. We are commanded to go through the gates! We go through the gates to prepare the way for the people, to build up the highway, to clear away the stones, to raise up a banner for the people! We are to proclaim to the ends of the earth that they have been Sought After by the King of the Universe! We are to announce the good news that we are redeemed and married to the Bridegroom, Jesus. We are His Bride, His Church, and He has redeemed us for His glory. Will we, His Bride, hear what He is saying to us and go through the narrow gate?
