Join Oklahoma Ag in the Classroom for a spectacular FREE Summer Conference!
Keynote Speaker: Josh Hargis- Program Director of AgVocates for Exceptional Individuals. Josh will share tried and true methods to best help special needs students that may be in your classroom. AgVocates for Exceptional Individuals is governed by a Philosophy of Education that fosters a learner-centered, active and interactive pedagogy that develops every child cognitively, socially, and emotionally. Fabulous Workshops: Workshops presented by teachers from across the state, as well as workshops presented by agriculture experts. Participants will be able to choose 3 workshops presented by teachers and 1 workshop presented by an agriculture expert during the conference.
Agriculture Entertainment: We are excited to announce that The Peterson Farm Brothers will be presenting at the conference. The Peterson Farm Brothers use their YouTube channel and Social Media to educate others about the importance of agriculture. They have created 10 agriculture parodies and many other farm videos. Their videos can be found on the YouTube channel: ThePetersonFarmBros.
Delicious Lunch: What's for lunch?? Ted's Escondido! And it is FREE!
This one day event will be spectacular! Leave energized and ready to "STEMulate" minds in your classroom after learning how agriculture travels "From Gate to Plate."
Two schools will be awarded lunch parties for the faculty. Win by either: 1) Bringing the most faculty members to the conference or 2) Bringing the largest percentage of your faculty to the conference. Make sure your fellow teachers sign up today!!
