Event description

Description

Join us for fun, fall festivities at GASP-toberfest as we celebrate a year’s worth of victories and successes. Now more than ever we need champions for clean air, and we want to thank our members and volunteers who have continuously helped us to improve the air quality of southwestern Pennsylvania. The evening will include authentic German food and drink, silent and pick-a-prize auctions, live music, and fall themed games and activities.

Champion for Healthy Air Award:

We will be honoring two community members, Mark Dixon and Dr. Deborah Gentile, who through activism and education have truly stood out as Champions for Healthy Air.

Speaker:

Rebecca Kiernan, Senior Resilience Coordinator for the City of Pittsburgh, will address the city’s Resilience Plan and it’s implications for our air quality.

This year we are lowering the cost of our benefit in the hopes that it is affordable to everyone wishing to attend. Any additional donations along with the purchase of your tickets would go a long way in funding our educational and advocacy work.

General Admission Ticket:
Includes access to activities and auctions, all you can eat authentic German cuisine, and one drink ticket.

VIP ticket: Limit 25
Includes access to activities and auctions, all you can eat authentic German cuisine, and one drink ticket to use during the event. This ticket also includes a behind-the-scenes tour of Penn Brewery led by one of their brewers, a 16oz glass of beer during the tour (separate from your event drink ticket), and a souvenir GASP pilsner glass. The tour begins at 6:30pm.
