Overview

Soils are a critical part of life, plant health and our ecosystem. Join us for a free webinar on practices that improve soil health.

Early spring is the perfect time to plan for the upcoming growing season and think about improving your soil health! Whatever scale you are gardening on, understanding your soil is crucial to plant health. Join us on Tuesday February 10, 2026 for a free webinar to learn about the different practices you can incorperate into your garden that will improve your soil health and garden productivity. KCD resource planners will also have plenty of time to answer your soil questions.

Topics include:

  • What is healthy soil?
  • Cover cropping
  • Understanding low and no-till practices
  • The importance of life in soil!

If you have attended KCD's "Understanding Soil Health" webinar in the past this presentation includes new and different information, with less of a focus on understanding soil nutrients and more of a focus on how gardening practices influence soil.
