With the right equipment and some basic know-how, growing a great lawn can be an attractive and functional addition to a home landscape. This class is the last in the Extension Gardener: Gardening in the Mountains series with the NC State Extension, Haywood County Center. Join Sam Marshall (Horticulture Agent) and the Extension Master Gardener Volunteers of Haywood County in this series of 7 classes as we tackle common home gardening topics from warm-season vegetables, to lawns, to native plants. Each class is standalone; sign up for the classes that meet your individual interests.

In this class, participants learn aspects of fall gardening, biorational and organic pesticides, and composting techniques. Jim Janke, Extension Master Gardener Volunteer will be will be leading this 2-hour, online (Zoom) seminar from 1-3p on Tuesday, June 22 from 1-3p. Topics for this class include:
