Thirty years after the first Garden Tour of Athens, the Piedmont Gardeners continue to showcase the beautiful gardens of Athens. Whether you are an experienced gardener, collector of unique plants, or a beginner gardener, this year’s Spring Garden Tour has something for you. To celebrate 30 years of garden tours, this year’s tour will feature six gardens for the first time ever.
Garden Locations:
Garden #1: 154 Sedgefield Drive
Garden #2: 112 River Bottom Way
Garden #3: 53 Prince Place
Garden #4: 120 Woodland Way
Garden #5: 475 Milledge Circle
Garden #6: 277 Woodlawn Avenue
You may visit the gardens in any order you choose.
The event will be held rain or shine. There are no refunds.
Wear comfortable shoes. Walk at your own risk. There are no toilet facilities and the houses are closed to the public.
No strollers, buggies, bicycles or dogs.
Proceeds from the Tour fund generous annual scholarships which The Piedmont Gardeners award to UGA students of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture.

The Piedmont Gardeners is a non-profit organization dedicated to learning and sharing garden expertise and experience to serve Athens and the surrounding area through volunteer projects and financial giving. The proceeds from the annual Garden Tour funds a scholarship to an outstanding UGA student with a special interest in horticulture, gardening and garden design.
