Pictionary, Uno, Apples to Apples, Euchure and more! Snacks and drinks will be provided. Join Columbus Gives Back for a Game Night with the residents of the YMCA Supportive Housing Unit. Volunteering has never been easier! This event is one where we are able to have hands on interactions with those in need. The men at the shelter look forward to game night and are always appreciative of our time.
When: Thursday, July 9, 2015, 6:00-8:00 PM
Event Leaders: Amanda at email@example.com and Caroline at firstname.lastname@example.org
Where: YMCA of Central Ohio, 40 West Long Street, Columbus, OH 43215
Where to Park: The best place to park is in the Marconi parking garage because the YMCA will give us free parking passes for this garage (remember to bring your parking ticket into the YMCA). If you’re coming down Spring St., you’ll pass Front St. and then take your next left onto Ludlow St. The parking garage is immediately on your right. Then, when you leave the parking garage, walk on Ludlow (turn right out of the garage) toward Long St. Take a left on Long. St. and the YMCA is up a block on the left side. Come in the main entrance, which has two decorative lights on the building by the door. Also, if you don’t want to park in the garage, feel free to park at one of the meters along Long St.
Bring: Volunteers are welcome to bring snacks, soda, or games to share with the volunteers and residents.
Where to Meet: We’ll meet immediately inside the main entrance doors, get a brief orientation to YMCA’s supportive housing program, and then prepare for the game night.
After the Event: Please join us for some food and drinks after the event at a nearby restaurant for our #socialtwist
