Event description
Game Gam is a monthly event hosting hearty, salty, playful quick-fire talks about video games.

About this Event

Welcome to Game gam!

We're creating a space for exciting speakers from both inside and outside the industry to share their thoughts and ideas. Come along and see what they have to say. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll meet some excellent people, and maybe be inspired to pitch your own idea? We accept pitches from absolutely ANYONE and pay all our speakers. If you're interested you can find out guidelines and how to get in touch here.

Speaking this month

Rex Crowle

Rex is an artist, animator and designer who has worked in television for Disney and MTV, and in video games has worked on the LittleBigPlanet games and was creative lead for Tearaway and it's sequel. He is currently working on Knights And Bikes a game drawing inspiration from his childhood experiences growing up on a farm in Cornwall.

Sam Greer

Sam is a game journalist and video producer at Glass House Games who has had her work published at various outlets over the past few years including the BBC, The Guardian, Eurogamer, PC Gamer and who was once a staff writer at GamesMaster.

Poppy Ingham

Poppy is a Community Manager at Bossa Studios, with six years experience with game agencies and has worked for the likes of Pokemon and Bandai Namco. She is a volunteer for Special Effect and also an e-sports writer who has produced work for Esports Insider and Sky News.

Claire Kwong

Claire is an artist and developer from New York City. She makes games that use technology to make people dance together. She has exhibited at indie game events including A MAZE, PlayUK, and Beta Public. She also makes performance art and visuals for chiptune shows.

Yemi Oladimeji

Yemi, who goes by the moniker "OraMagi" online, is a content creator with a passion for good anime, good food and good video games! With a deep interest in almost all things to do with Japanese pop culture, if he's not working on videos, he's either writing up new characters for his visual novel, rewatching older shows or grinding gachas!

Sarah Wellock

Sarah is European PR Manager for SEGA/ATLUS and an aficionado of visual novels. She made the first ever list of top 100 women in the games industry in 2012 and in her spare time from jetting around the globe can often be found tweeting about her love for Gudetama.

Our event will be filmed, and there may be some photography. If you do not wish to be filmed or photographed please speak to one of the event organisers.

All our attendees agree to abide by our safe spaces policy, and understand that not abiding by our policy may result in your removal from the event and/or being banned from future events.
