This four-week class further explores the concepts and practices cultivated in the Game Face work series. So, you’ve explored thematic resonance, tempo, and situational analogies. You’ve mastered looking for the game and heightening it. Now what?

“Game Face III: Face Your Game” culminates the practices of the preceding Game Face series into long form improvisational world-building. Having cultivated a practice of Game-of-Scene, Pattern-Building, and Organic Group Game; you’ll build a world-narrative of emotionally invested characters inspired by the game of what’s there. You’ll practice twisting the grounded and the absurd into a delightful story form by making game bridges between scenes. Personalized feedback will sharpen your game instincts and bolster your natural gifts, enabling you to confidently commit to your active listening, as well as your choices. Have fun exploring the magnification of the moment. Delight in the brilliant contrast of real-world ridiculousness and the potential poignancy of fantasy. Bond in the genuine fun that exists in bolstering your confidence and connecting in group pattern. Also, play dumb games and learn things.
