Event description

Description

Starting October 12, 2017, through December 14, 2017

This is an introduction to programming and game development for kids ages 7 and up. Our participants will learn how to program their own computer games by recreating the most popular games in history – from the early arcade hits such as Pong and Frogger to ultimate video-game blockbusters such as Snake or Tetris.

The course makes programming ideas like variables, flow control, and subroutines easy to assimilate. Stuffed with thoughts for games that children will be glad to show, this is the ideal initial step for the aspiring developer.

Scratch is the uncontrollably prominent educational programming language utilized by millions of first-time students in classrooms and homes around the world. By dragging together beautiful blocks of code, children can learn programming ideas and make cool games and animations.
