Event description

Description

Everyone’s talking about gaming, but how does it really work? See for yourself at a workshop on game design presented by the Touro College Graduate School of Technology (GST). From drawing your idea on paper to programming competitive digital games for tablets, participants will learn to create games that can teach, entertain and engage.

Professor Al Doyle, Chair of the Multimedia & Web Design Program at GST, an expert in teaching with technology in schools, colleges and museums, will conduct this workshop using the popular app, Doodlematic. The two-hour workshop is open to beginners and advanced learners alike. Prof. Doyle will feature examples created by Touro’s graduate students, and enable you to find out if game design is the right career for you.

Open to college students and graduates interested in further study. Pizza supper will be provided.

Registration fee: $20. Click here to pay on Touro's payment page. Registration deadline: November 21.
