During this giving season, join SFTA for to learn more about how companies can integrate philanthropy into its business practices and structures. SFTA’s December webinar will feature a law expert who can explain leading philanthropic business models (i.e ESOPs, Benefit Corporations, and more), a deep dive into Organically Grown Company’s new Perpetual Purpose Trust, and then Glory Bee’s Save the Bee campaign and related non-profit structure.

Law firm Stoel Rives kicks off Game Changer with an overview of the various business structure options that exist which enable a business to permanently integrate mission into its business model, and if it’s possible to transition to those models once a business is already established.

Stoel Rives will then present with Organically Grown Company, who worked together to establish and transition to their first-of-its-kind business structure: the Perpetual Purpose Trust. Learn about how this Perpetual Purpose Trust helps ensure that the company cannot be sold to a larger organization, and enables the company to create and distribute long-term returns to its stakeholders (farmers, co-workers, and more).

Campaigns can frequently have big impacts, and few campaigns are a good example of this other than GloryBee’s SAVE the BEE campaign. RaeJean Wilson, Senior Executive VP of GloryBee will go into
detail on the journey of how the campaign was structured, why and how its particular goals were set, and its success to date, which includes tens of thousands of dollars dedicated to pollinator protection and research! Attendees will walk away with insights on how to launch or improve.
