Islamic Art Revival Series and Irving Arts Center presents a tour of the beautiful and compelling works of Juried art by world renowned artists with Ms. Inman, Exhibition Manager, Irving Arts Center.
As Director of Exhibitions & Educational Programs at the Irving Arts Center, Marcie Inman is responsible for all aspects of the visual arts programming and curatorial duties for the galleries and Sculpture Garden as well as development and oversight of youth, family and public programs including KidsArts Summer Camps, Saturday School, Family Fundays, JumpstART, the Art Connection membership program, and docent training as well as special lecture and film series. Her background includes a B.A. in English Literature from University of Dallas and graduate studies in Art History from Southern Methodist University.
Prior to joining IAC, she taught Art History and Art Appreciation at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, L.A. and served as manager of The Hughes-Trigg Gallery (now Pollock Gallery) at SMU. She is the proud mom of three sons: Cooper, a junior at University of Texas at Austin; Lucas, a sophomore at Kansas City Art Institute; and Jesse, a freshman at Texas Tech University.
