Event description
Passionate about climate change? Interested in re-designing green spaces? This workshop is run by the RHS as part of the Ignition Project.

About this Event

The Ignition Project brings together 12 partners from across Greater Manchester. Their aim is to address the emergency caused by climate change by investigating how it can fund the delivery of more nature based projects which will help make the world a less vulnerable space to climate change.

The project aims to achieve a 10% increase in our city's coverage of plants and trees by 2038.

If you live, work or Study in Greater Manchester we would like to hear your thoughts and opinions as part of this workshop. Join us for a workshop full of discussion, redesigning spaces, exploring what green spaces mean to you and if you were designing from scratch what your would have in your green space.

Your views will help us to understand how green spaces are currently used, spoken about and value Greater Manchester's woodlands, parks and other natural habitats.

Please note, this workshop is for Home Educated young people only ages 8+.
