Description

On October 27, 2017, from 1:30-4:00 p.m., the Department of Hearing, Speech, & Language Sciences will be hosting an Open House event in the SLCC atrium.

This event aims to provide an opportunity for the Gallaudet campus community to learn about the HSLS department and Gallaudet Hearing and Speech Center (GUHSC). Come to learn about all the clinical services provided by the GUHSC, as well as all of the HSLS department's academics and research. This event will include a brief address from faculty members of the HSLS department and Dr. Carol Erting, Provost, Dr. Khadijat Rashid, Interim Dean SEBHS, Dr. Gaurav Mathur, Dean GSCS, and Dr. Caroline Solomon, Professor. Information will be provided about our offered speech-language services, camp SHARP and KODA programs, assistive listening devices (ALDs), audiological testing, hearing aid and cochlear implant services. Also, there will be guided tours of both our speech-language and audiology centers. Light refreshments will be provided, and raffle items will be up for grabs!
