The Galactosemia Foundation Conference runs Thursday - Saturday, July 12th - July 14th, 2018.
There are five different types of programs that you can register for: adult general (adults), childcare (0-12), G-Force (13-17), Generation G (18+), AGERs (adults) with offsite activites. See www.galactosemia.org/schedules for more information about the programs.
General conference registration is for adults 18 years old and older. General conference registration includes admission to six self-selected breakout sessions, general sessions, galactosemia safe lunches and snacks on Friday and Saturday, and evening social events on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Childcare registration is for a professional on-site childcare. Onsite childcare is from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm on Friday and Saturday. The childcare program is for children from 0 - 12 years of age. The child care program will include age-appropriate activities for each age group, along with galactosemia safe snacks. Children in the childcare program will eat a galactosemia safe lunch on Friday and Saturday with their families. To participate in the childcare program, please register and pay for each child through this website.
G-Force and Generation G
The G-Force and Generation G groups have their own programs separate from the general conference. These programs include both on-site and off-site activities. Transportation will be provided from the hotel to the off-site activities. A special t-shirt is also included with registration for these groups. Galactosemia safe lunches and snacks on Friday and Saturday are included in the registration for these groups.
G-Force is for teens (13-18) both those with galactosemia and those without. The Generation G program is for adults no longer in highschool (18+) with galactosemia (see also AGERs). Both the G-Force and Generation G programs are full programs that are separate from the general conference program.
AGERs is a program for older adults with galactosemia who are in a more mature place in their lives, most are married and some also have children. Registering as an AGER gives a blend of the general conference program plus participation in the offsite activities with the G-Force and Generation G groups. AGERs not interested in attending off-site activities shoud register for the General Conference. AGERs that register for the general conference will not be able to go to the offsite activities but will have opportunities to network with other adults with galactosemia before and after the main program and during lunches.
Two different style t-shirts are available for purchase for all registrants @ $15 per shirt. Also, there are several galactosemia diet related books for sale. All merchandise pre-ordered during registration will be available to be picked up during on-site registration at the conference.
Special hotel group rate of $ 139 USD per night available if you book by June 20, 2018 at the Denver Marriott Tech Center
Please note once registered, no refunds will be given. Canceled registrations will be treated as donations to the Galactosemia Foundation.
